The aim of the Little Foundation is to reduce the toll of brain damage occurring before and at birth. This form of brain damage affects millions of children all over the world with one or more of these seven lifetime conditions:

Despite much research into brain development, the actual cause of the brain damage is not known in many instances. Both the timing and cause of brain damage need to be determined. Such research, producing successful interventions and prevention, will achieve our aim to limit the enormous emotional, personal and economic costs of brain damage in babies.
